FORT INDIANTOWN GAP - A 38-year-old Lykens woman died after her vehicle struck a utility pole on Moonshine Road, just east of Chestnut Road, Union Township, Lebanon County, at 12:20 p.m. Monday.

State police at Jonestown said Jennifer Jo Lilly died at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma.

Police said Lilly was driving a 1995 Oldsmobile Achieva sedan east on Moonshine Road, went off the road while trying to follow a left curve in the road and lost control of the vehicle while trying to get back onto the roadway. Police said the vehicle sustained severe damage and the utility pole was severed in half.
