ORWIGSBURG - Two men were air lifted to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a two-vehicle crash that also injured two others at Route 443 and North Greenview Road, North Manheim Township, at 2:51 p.m. Saturday.

A Geisinger representative said Mason A. White, 16, of Ashland, was in "fair" condition as of 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Monty L. Maser, 33, of Alburtis, was in "serious" condition.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said White was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Lance south on Greenview Road and did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection. The vehicle was struck on the passenger's side by a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 traveling east on Route 443 and then traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.

Police said Derek L. Hartranft, 24, of New Ringgold, was driving the Silverado and suffered a minor injury, and Megan E. Dove, 22, of New Ringgold, was a passenger and suffered moderate injuries. Both were treated on scene.

All four people involved in the incident were wearing seat belts, police said.

Police charged White for the accident.

Assisting at the scene were Orwigsburg Fire and Rescue, local fire police, MediVac 7 and Life Flight 5.
