SAINT CLAIR - Schuylkill County Crime Stoppers and Saint Clair police are asking for the public's help in identifying three people who allegedly stole more than $5,000 worth of merchandise from a borough business last month.
Police said the theft occurred at 5:07 p.m. Aug. 17 at Wal-Mart.
Police said one man and two women entered the store and went to the electronics department where the man forced open a lower cabinet and removed 11 tablet computers, five Nexus 7 tablets and six iPADs.
The man then called the women for help and the three went to the housewares aisle where they loaded the items into a hamper and then left the store without paying.
All three then fled the area in what is believed to be a mid-size black vehicle.
Schuylkill County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information on the identity of these three individuals or on any other unsolved crime in Schuylkill County.
Callers are asked to refer to incident 09-09-12 when calling with information about the theft of electronics from Wal-Mart in Saint Clair.
