TREMONT - A 31-year-old Tremont man charged with sexually assaulting two teenage girls in Hegins Township in July waived his right to a hearing Thursday morning in district court.

Alan R. Donmoyer, 423 W. Main St., was charged with on one felony count each of aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors; two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault; one misdemeanor count of corruption of minors; and, a summary charge of driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

After appearing briefly before Magisterial District Judge Carol A. Pankake, Donmoyer was returned to Schuylkill County Prison where he is being held on $10,000 straight cash bail set at the time of his arraignment last month.

Hegins Township Police Sgt. Beau Yarmush charged Donmoyer with incidents on Old Mill Road, near the intersection of East Mountain Road, between 6 p.m. July 16 and 6 a.m. July 17.

Yarmush said a 14-year-old girl reported she and a 16-year-old girl were being driven around by Donmoyer on July 16 inside his car looking for the lost dog of another girl.

Yarmush said that about 4 p.m. that day, the 16-year-old reported while looking for the dog, Donmoyer engaged in sexual intercourse with her and afterwards the two met a 14-year-old girl and two juvenile boys.

The officer said that about 6 p.m., Donmoyer turned onto Old Mill Road where the car broke down and ended up being parked alongside the road near a corn field.

At that point, Yarmush said the two boys left the area and the 14-year-old remained in the car along with the 16-year-old.

About 5 a.m. July 17, Donmoyer sexually assaulted the 14-year-old girl which the 16-year-old girl witnessed, Yarmush said. The 16-year-old confirmed that story and reported that about 5 a.m. she again had sexual intercourse with Donmoyer and that the 14-year-old was present and witnessed the act, Yarmush said.

On July 31, Yarmush said Donmoyer was interviewed by a state police corporal and admitted having sexual intercourse with the 16-year-old girl in the woods and inside his car. He also admitted to sexually assaulting the 14-year-old.

Donmoyer will now have to answer to all the charges against him in Schuylkill County Court.
