Schuylkill County District Attorney Karen Byrnes-Noon and Chief County Detective Dennis Clark are asking for the public's help in finding a Philadelphia man who failed to appear at the county courthouse eight years ago.
Police said David A. Martin did not show up at the courthouse on Aug. 25, 2004, where he was scheduled to enter a guilty plea on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
The charges stem from an incident in the county on June 13, 2003, police said.
Martin is described as being black, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. His last known address is 1732 N. Hollywood St., Philadelphia, police said.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Martin or any other fugitive in Schuylkill County is asked to call the District Attorney's office at 570-628-1350.
In addition, anyone who may see or come in contact with this man is asked to call the Schuylkill County Communications Center immediately.
Callers are asked to refer to incident 09-2-12 when calling with information on the whereabouts of Martin.
Individuals with information can also contact their local police department and all information received will remain confidential.
