County residents lost power for an hour due to a blown transformer about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
A supervisor at the Schuylkill Communications Center said a transformer blew in Pottsville and he was unsure of which areas were affected.
The power came back on by 4:40 p.m. Sunday.
According to the PPL website, 1,427 customers were without power Sunday.
By 7 p.m. power was restored to all PPL customers in Pottsville.
