In recent Schuylkill County Court action, Judge John E. Domalakes accepted guilty pleas from, and, pursuant to plea agreements between prosecutors and defendants, imposed the indicated sentences on, these people:
Paul M. Kopinetz, 34, of Pottsville; simple assault; 12 months probation and $50 payment to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account.
Randall R. Lenker, 43, of York; three counts of sale of tobacco to minors; $475 in fines. Prosecutors dropped three counts each of corruption of minors and selling or furnishing liquor to minors.
Chad J.D. Phillips, 23, of Pottsville; possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property; 12 months probation and $100 payment to the Substance Abuse Education Fund. Prosecutors dropped a charge of fraudulent use or removal of plate.
Ronald D. Ramer, 58, of New Philadelphia; driving under the influence and failure to keep right; 15 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, 5 1/2 months probation, $1,025 in fines, $300 SAEF payment and 10 hours community service. Prosecutors dropped a charge of careless driving.
Benjamin A. Riegel, 34, of Pottsville; simple assault; time served to 12 months in prison with immediate parole and $50 CJEA payment. Prosecutors dropped charges of robbery and theft.
Melissa S. Robinson, 31, of Minersville; conspiracy and accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property; 23 months probation and $2,941.99 restitution. Domalakes dismissed three other counts of conspiracy and prosecutors dropped one of failure to stop and give information or render aid.
Susan Rochford, 29, of Cumbola; possession of a controlled substance and retail theft; 12 months probation consecutive to current sentence, $25 fine, $100 SAEF payment, $15.56 restitution, 10 hours community service and drug and alcohol evaluation.
Shawn Trudeau, 22, of Tobyhanna; theft, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at nighttime, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief; three to 23 months in prison, $100 fine, $50 CJEA payment, $2,000 restitution and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities. Prosecutors dropped charges of burglary, criminal trespass and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Richard B. Unger, 54, of reading; two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance; four to 23 months in prison, $200 in SAEF payments, $50 CJEA payment, $226 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem, $100 restitution to the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force, drug and alcohol evaluation and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.
Randall M. Yurkonis, 35, of Auburn; disorderly conduct and public drunkenness; $200 in fines.
All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.
