A $1 million dollar remodel is coming to the Sheetz on Gordon Nagle Trail.

The changes include new gas pumps and interior and exterior improvements to the store.

Store 258 will be completely remodeled, said Monica Jones, public relations manager for Sheetz.

In September, work started with the gas pumps and finished eight weeks later. Customers were able to fill up again Nov. 21.

Total cost of the remodel and new gas pumps is $1 million, Jones said in an email.

"It will get a new, bigger kitchen, with new equipment and more space to handle more food orders. New bathrooms, new seating outside, new red-brick facade, new floors, lights, shelving, etc." Jones said.

Customers will also have a new coffee experience when they use the Sheetz Bros Coffee bar, she said. Those changes include "... a new Sheetz Bros Coffeez bar with new best-in-class coffee makers that keep coffee at optimal temperatures, away from air that changes the flavor and off of a traditional warmer like a glass pot, which can scorch the coffee."

A start and completion date for the remodel of the store isn't known, Jones said.

The other store in the county is in Schuylkill Haven. In Pennsylvania there are 225 stores, according to the company.
