A Carbon County woman is headed to prison after pleading guilty Wednesday in Schuylkill County Court to selling cocaine twice in 2012.
Deanna K. Semanoff, 24, of Lehighton, must serve four to 23 months behind bars under the terms of President Judge William E. Baldwin's sentence.
Baldwin, who made the sentence effective at 9 a.m. Jan. 2, 2013, also ordered Semanoff to pay costs, $100 to the Substance Abuse Education Fund and $226 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem, and to submit a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.
Semanoff pleaded guilty to two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and one of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Prosecutors withdrew an additional count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Shenandoah police charged Semanoff with selling cocaine on April 23, while Schuylkill County detectives charged her with selling cocaine on May 1.
Other defendants who pleaded guilty Wednesday before Baldwin, the crimes they admitted committing and the sentences the judge imposed pursuant to agreements between prosecutors and defendants included:
Travis Cheslock, 38, of Junedale; theft; two to four years in a state correctional institution, $50 payment to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities. Prosecutors withdrew charges of prohibited possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property.
Michael E. Dillman, 30, of Frackville; harassment; 12 months probation. Prosecutors withdrew an additional count of harassment and one count of terroristic threats.
Jason L. Mace, 26, of Hegins; driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lane; 30 days in prison, 90 days house arrest, 30 days alcohol monitoring, seven months strict supervision, four years probation, $1,525 in fines, $300 SAEF payment, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and 20 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of careless driving.
Amber A. Menne, 24, of Ashland; forgery and theft by deception; three years probation. Prosecutors withdrew an additional count of forgery and one count of acquisition of controlled substance by misrepresentation.
Herbert C. Miller, 36, of Mahanoy City; two counts of theft from a motor vehicle and one each of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; sentencing deferred pending preparation of a presentence investigation. Prosecutors withdrew two counts of receiving stolen property.
Jared T. Stessalavage, 25, of Orwigsburg; possession of a controlled substance, corruption of minors, theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia; three years probation, $100 SAEF payment and $100 in CJEA payments.
Joseph D. Tennant, 32, of Minersville; receiving stolen property; 12 months probation and 25 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of fraudulent use or removal of registration plate.
Andrew W. Zeiders III, 35, of Mahanoy City; possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana; six to 23 months in prison concurrent to Dauphin County sentence, $100 SAEF payment and $176 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of disorderly conduct.
Damon J. Ziegler, 26, of Shenandoah; conspiracy, burglary and criminal trespass; six to 23 months in prison and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities, with sentence effective at 9 a.m. Jan. 2, 2013. Prosecutors withdrew charges of theft, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at nighttime, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.
