n Shenandoah: A choir is being formed for Annunciation BVM Roman Catholic Parish, open to all who are interested in participating, from high school through adulthood. Choir members will be expected to attend weekly rehearsals and be present at scheduled Masses. The group, according to a bulletin announcement, will sing four-part harmony. n Shenandoah: Trinity Academy in the Father Walter J. Ciszek Education Center, 233 W. Cherry St., is accepting applications from any new students/families - kindergarten through eighth grade - for the 2013-14 school year. In a release, Michael J. Nieddu, director of development, said transfer grants are available for students in grades 1 through 7 transferring to Trinity from a public, private or charter school. The grant offers $1,000 per child for the coming school year and an additional $500 for the 2014-15 year. Also, he said, various tuition-aid opportunities are available.
