n Pottsville: Stephen Krater, aquatic director at the Pottsville Area School District's Ned Hampford Natatorium said the district will offer swimming lessons to anyone who wishes to sign up themselves or their children. n Pottsville: The Schuylkill County Farm Service Agency, with a group of cooperating agencies, will hold the annual meetings about proper maintenance for land enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program or Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Agricultural Service Center along the Gordon Nagle Trail. n Pottsville: The Mansfield University Concert Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. n Pottsville: Theresa Santai Gaffney, Schuylkill County register of wills, released the following report for February: Estates processed, 83; marriage licenses issued, 21; inheritance tax remitted to the commonwealth, $956,298.80; county fees collected, $22,205.75. There were no adoptions completed.
n Schuylkill Haven: The Penn State Schuylkill Alumni Society will present "Lunch with the Nittany Lion" April 13 in the R. Michael Fryer Conference Center on campus. Following the luncheon, children and their parents will enjoy special seating for the 2 p.m. Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Players' presentation of "Willy Wonka" in the John E. Morgan Auditorium. Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for children 12 and younger. Participants are welcome to bring their cameras to take photos with the Lion and with characters from "Willy Wonka."
