Welding cart taken from business
DARKWATER - A thief stole a welding cart from a business in New Castle Township sometime over the weekend, state police at Frackville said Tuesday.
It occurred between 3 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday at Pottsville Materials LLC, 2 E. Darkwater Road, police said.
The steel cart is about 4 feet high, 2 feet wide and 16 inches long. Its contents include a green oxygen tank and an orange acetylene tank and a regulator, police said.

Vandal smashes windshield
SAINT CLAIR - A vandal smashed the windshield of a vehicle parked in East Norwegian Township either April 19 or 20, state police at Schuylkill Haven said Monday.
It occurred at 84 Caroline Ave. between 7:30 p.m. April 19 and 10 a.m. April 20. The vehicle was a 1999 Isuzu box truck owned by Francis J. Desiderio, Wilkes-Barre, police said.

Police probe stolen bicycles
LANDINGVILLE - Thieves stole three bicycles and a pedal tractor from a back porch sometime April 20, state police at Schuylkill Haven said Tuesday.
Between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. April 20, the thieves took the following vehicles from the back porch at 110 Canal St.: three bicycles, a red NEXT, a purple Schwinn and a blue Mongoose; and a New Holland pedal tractor.
The vehicles are owned by Melissa Miller, 29, police said.
