NEW RINGGOLD - Schuylkill County Crime Stoppers and state police at Frackville are asking for the public's help in finding the person or persons responsible for an agricultural vandalism incident that damaged more than 600 trees earlier this month.
Police said the incident occurred at DPS Trees, 513 W. Pheasant Run Road in East Brunswick Township, sometime between Feb. 1 and Wednesday.
Police said someone damaged 639 trees growing in a field by running them over with a vehicle.
The trees had a total value of $43,592 at the time the damage occurred, but at the time of harvest would have an estimated value of $107,544.
Schuylkill County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information on the person or persons responsible for causing this damage or on any other unsolved crime in Schuylkill County.
Callers are asked to refer to incident 02-26-12 when calling with information on the agricultural vandalism incident in East Brunswick Township.
