PINE GROVE - State police at Schuylkill Haven cited the 10 Pin Club, 85 Long Stretch Road, after a seventh false alarm within the year at 11 a.m. March 28.
Police charged the club for not controlling its alarm device or automatic dialing service.
Truck driver
hurt in I-81 crash
PINE GROVE - A Maine truck driver was injured in a crash at 11:36 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 81 near mile marker 102.2 in Pine Grove Township, police said.
State police at Jonestown said Thomas L. Decker Jr., 60, of Lagrange, was injured when his 2006 Freightliner traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck several trees and an embankment.
Decker was taken to Schuyl-kill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street by Pine Grove EMS, and the severity of his injuries were unknown, police said.
He was charged with failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Valuable coins
taken from home
WICONISCO - State police at Lykens said a Wiconisco woman reported various coins totaling $161.45 from her coin collection were stolen from her 735 E. Pottsville St. home between March 1 and 31.
Police said the coins include a half dollar and a silver quarter from the 1940s, 15 pennies with a weed design from the 1940s, 50 bicentennial quarters, 50 quarters with a standing horse design, 10 quarters with a bucking horse design and five quarters with a bull's head design.

Woman charged
in front-end crash
PINE GROVE - Two people and two infants escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash at 7:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 443.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 2004 Ford Windstar, driven by Doris L. Hooper, 55, of Pottsville, was traveling east on Deturksville Road when she got distracted and entered the oncoming westbound lane.
A 2010 Chevrolet Express, driven by Russell P. Noecker, 43, of Landingville, swerved off the road when attempting to avoid Hooper, but was unable to move far enough off the road due to an embankment and telephone pole.
Both vehicles collided head-on with their driver sides.
Hooper and two infant passengers and Noecker and his passenger suffered no injuries.
All were wearing seatbelts and the infants were in child seats.
Both units sustained disabling front-end damage and were towed from the scene.
Hooper was charged with failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
Assisting at the scene were Pine Grove Ambulance and North End Fire Company.
Girardville crash
probed by police
GIRARDVILLE - State police at Frackville are investigating a two-car crash that occurred at East Main and North Fourth streets at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said Kenneth Jessman, 46, of Girardville, was driving a 1997 Buick Park Avenue west on East Main Street when he ran into the back of a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Gary Romanot, 61, of Girardville, who was stopped, waiting to make a left turn into a driveway.
Police said Jessman was not hurt and that they do know if Romanot was hurt. Police said Jessman will be cited for careless driving as a result of the crash.
2 escape injury
in I-81 collision
PINE GROVE - Two people escaped injury in a two-vehicle crash at 8:35 a.m. Thursday at Route 443 and Swatara Drive in Pine Grove Township, police said.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 2008 Ford Explorer driven by James R. Chapman, 56, of Lake Ariel, approached a stop sign on Swatara Road leaving McDonald's and then pulled out in front of a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Alan D. Chornak, 48, of Mechanicsburg, which was traveling east on Route 443, also known as Suedberg Road.
Police said Chornak could not swerve to avoid Chapman due to oncoming traffic and hit the front driver side of Chapman's vehicle with the front passenger side of his vehicle.
Chornak lost steering of his vehicle due to a trailer of logs hooked to his truck and drove up an embankment.
Chapman's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene, while Chornak's vehicle sustained disabling front end damage and was towed from the scene, police said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, police said.
