FRACKVILLE - Someone stole two items from a Shenandoah woman's car while it was parked at her workplace Sunday afternoon, police said.
Borough police said Allison Caulfield reported that she parked her violet 1995 Chevy Cavalier near Rite-Aid at 1 p.m. and noticed at 3:25 p.m. that the passenger-side front window was broken and a light-green iPod and DC charger were missing. Police said a co-worker was outside during a break about 2 p.m. and the vehicle was not damaged.

FRACKVILLE - Someone broke into an Ashland woman's car while it was parked near a supermarket in the borough Sunday afternoon, police said.
Borough police said Jessie Dengler, reported to police at 4:04 p.m. that she was at Boyer's Food Market about 3:30 p.m. and went into the store for 10 to 15 minutes. Upon returning to her vehicle, a black 2006 Pontiac, which was unlocked, she found that her personal checkbook and vehicle registration and insurance cards were stolen, police said.
An MP3 player and a camera were in the vehicle but not taken, police said. However, a diaper bag was emptied and removed from the vehicle, police said.
The checks were from the Ashland branch of M&T Bank, police said.

drug charges
WILLIAMSTOWN - A Tower City woman was charged with drug possession following an incident that occurred Saturday evening on Grant Street near West Broad Street in Williams Township, Dauphin County, police said.
State police at Lykens said Brenda Alberta Thornton, 33, was stopped by police and found to be in possession of marijuana, prescription medication and paraphernalia. Charges were filed through the office of Magisterial District Judge Rebecca Margerum, Elizabethville, police said.
