After being unopposed and winning the primary race for the 125th Legislative District, state Rep. Mike Tobash, R-125, will have opposition in the Nov. 6 General Election.
Tobash will run against Democrat Vicki Harman, Hegins, a secretary with Hegins Township and former township supervisor.
Tobash was elected to the state House of Representatives in 2010, having run against Democrat Tim Seip in November 2010 and Dennis Baylor of the No-Party Party of Pennsylvania.
The 125th District includes parts of Schuylkill and Berks counties.
In the 123rd Legislative District, Rep. Neal P. Goodman, D-123, ran unopposed. He is seeking his sixth term in office.
Goodman represents parts of Schuylkill County. He was first elected to the House in 2002. In 2010, he faced opposition by Republican Ettore Dicasimirro.
As of 11 p.m. with all 43 precincts reporting, Tobash had 5,412 votes. Harman had 2,972 from all 43 precincts reporting, according to unofficial results from the Schuylkill County Election Bureau.
A total of 6,092 votes as of 10:50 p.m. were cast for Goodman, all precincts reporting.
