Location clarified
The 277 members of the senior class at Pottsville Area High School will turn their tassels and become graduates on May 31.
On Thursday, Jacqueline Wapinsky, high school principal, said commencement will begin at 8 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium behind the high school at 16th Street and Elk Avenue. Baccalaureate is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the stadium, Wapinsky said. In the Graduation special section published in Thursday's edition, it was reported these events would be at Martz Hall. Wapinsky said Thursday they will only be in Martz Hall if it rains.
