James R. Ferrier
ORWIGSBURG - A Pottsville man faces Schuylkill County Court action after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing on July 3 on charges stemming from an incident in April in Schuylkill Haven.
Charals Schrader, 18, of 733 N. Second St., must defend against three counts of corruption of minors and one each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier bound over those charges for the county court after Schrader waived his right to a hearing.
Schuylkill Haven borough police allege that Schrader possessed the marijuana and paraphernalia, and shared the former with three minors, at 6:39 p.m. April 20 at 29 Schumacher Ave., Apt. 2, in the borough.

Police said that during the search, they found drug paraphernalia, including two glass marijuana pipes and a copper grinder.
