Road closed, tractor
stuck on rail
CRESSONA - Beckville Road was closed for about one hour after a tractor-trailer became stuck on a guide rail and a part of a small bridge at Beckville Road and Wilder Street at 3:39 p.m. Saturday.
Police said a 2012 Peterbilt tractor-trailer was attempting to make a right turn onto Beckville Road when the back end failed to clear the guide rail.
Police did not identify the driver but said he will not be charged for the incident. The bridge was inspected by PennDOT before the roadway was deemed safe for truck travel, police said.

with stealing fuel
HAMBURG - State police at Hamburg charged James C. Lovins, 52, of Auburn, with stealing a fuel card from Johnson Horse Transportation, 28 Indusrtrial Road, Shartlesville, at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 27, 2011, while at Pilot Service Center, 2210 Camp Swatara Road, Bethel Township.
Lovins used the card to pump about 92.601 gallons of diesel fuel worth about $355.50 into his Ford F350 pickup truck, police said.
Fleet one fuel cards are controlled with a personal PIN number issued to the individuals of the company and Lovins used another driver's number with his consent for the transaction, police said.
Charges will be filed with the district court in Bernville, police said.
Woman charged
with taking jacket
MAR LIN - State police at Schuylkill Haven charged Shawna Lenker, 18, of Schuylkill Haven, with stealing a Hollister hooded jacket from a classroom at the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit No. 29 between noon and 1 p.m. Thursday.
Lenker was seen stealing the jacket on video surveillance a day after the incident was brought to the attention of the principal, police said.
Charges were filed with the district court at Port Carbon, police said.
