A Pottsville man admitted Tuesday in Schuylkill County Court that he tried to break into a New Philadelphia motorcycle supply store last August.

William A. Wallace, 22, pleaded guilty to attempted criminal trespass, with prosecutors withdrawing charges of attempted burglary, conspiracy and criminal mischief as part of the plea agreement.

Judge John E. Domalakes accepted Wallace's plea, placed him on probation for 23 months and also sentenced him to pay costs and $25 restitution, perform 20 hours community service and submit a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.

Domalakes made the term of probation consecutive to the sentence Wallace already is serving.

State police at Frackville charged Wallace with using a crowbar on a door to try to break into Bowers Motorcycle Supplies Inc., 27 Valley St., on Aug. 16, 2012.

Also on Tuesday, Domalakes accepted guilty pleas from, and, pursuant to agreements between prosecutors and the defendants, imposed the indicated sentences on, these people:

Scott C. Hoy, 56, of Muir; driving under the influence and failure to drive on roadways laned for traffic; 30 days in prison, 90 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, 30 days alcohol monitoring, four years and seven months probation, $1,525 in fines, $100 payment to the Substance Abuse Education Fund and 20 hours community service, with sentence effective at 9 a.m. Monday. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of careless driving.

State police at Schuylkill Haven alleged that Hoy was DUI on Jan. 17, 2012, on East Church Street, Muir, Porter Township.

Justin A. Jacobacci, 30, of Jim Thorpe; conspiracy, retail theft and receiving stolen property; time served to 23 months in prison with immediate parole, $50 payment to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, $50 bench warrant fee and $748 restitution.

Rush Township police charged Jacobacci with stealing a television on June 30, 2012, from Wal-Mart, Hometown.

Shawna F. Lenker, 19, of Schuylkill Haven; criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; time served to 23 months in prison with immediate parole, 12 months concurrent probation, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment, $226 restitution and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.

Mahanoy Township police charged Lenker with trespassing on Oct. 9, 2012, in the township, while Schuylkill Haven borough police alleged she possessed marijuana and paraphernalia on Sept. 13, 2012, in the borough.

Miguel D. Rodriguez, 24, of Hazleton; access device fraud; 23 months probation, $1,022.50 restitution and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.

State police at Frackville charged Rodriguez with fraudulently obtaining $1,022.50 in merchandise on July 5, 2011.

Thomas S. Ruzzano, 43, of Tamaqua; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by deception and receiving stolen property; 23 months probation, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment and $338 restitution. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of forgery.

Pottsville police alleged that Ruzzano possessed cocaine and a pipe on July 30, 2010, in the city, while Tamaqua police charged him with stealing $225 on Aug. 29, 2012, in the borough.

Earl S. Siders III, Minersville; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of drug paraphernalia; one to 23 months in prison, 12 months consecutive probation, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment, $415 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem, 25 hours community service and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities, with sentence effective at 9 a.m. Monday. Prosecutors withdrew a second count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Minersville police alleged Siders possessed marijuana, baggies, a scale and a pipe on March 16, 2012, in the borough.

All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.
