n Pottsville: The Pottsville Area School District's drug and alcohol coalition called Tide Task Force will give the public another opportunity prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. In conjunction with Pottsville police and the Drug Enforcement Administration, the task force will collect the unwanted medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27 near Martz Hall and have them properly disposed. The service is free and anonymous, according to a task force release.
n Shenandoah: Knights of Columbus Francis Cardinal Brennan Council 618 will sponsor bingo games April 7 and 21 in St. Stephen Roman Catholic Parish Hall, Main and Oak streets.
