Rush Twp. police probe 2 incidents
HOMETOWN - Rush Township police investigated two incidents that occurred over the weekend in their coverage area.
At 6:35 p.m. Friday, police said they arrested Kayla Crostly, 21, of Nesquehoning, and charged her with retail theft for trying to steal items valued at $54.18 from Wal-Mart.
At 1:15 p.m. Sunday, police said they stopped a vehicle driven by Angelica Wetzel, 23, of Frackville, for a traffic violation and found her to be under the influence. The woman was taken to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street for a blood alcohol test, and police said she was also found with a small amount of marijuana and a marijuana pipe.
Charges against Wetzel are pending, police said.
