LANDINGVILLE - The Main Street Bridge over the Schuylkill River is restricted to a single lane until further notice due to settlement of the piers on the 89-year-old concrete arch bridge.
The settlement was discovered this week during an inspection of the structure.
Traffic will be controlled with stop signs to allow one lane of traffic to flow at a time over the bridge. Main Street has an average daily traffic volume of 970 vehicles.
