Police searching for Deer Lake man charged in DUI-related crime

Schuylkill County District Attorney Karen Byrnes-Noon and Chief County Detective Dennis Clark are asking the public's help in locating a Deer Lake man who failed to report to Schuylkill County Prison to begin serving his sentence.

Christopher Pate is wanted for his failure to report to prison on March 4 to begin serving his sentence after pleading guilty to charges of driving with a suspended license-DUI related.

Pate, whose last known address was 104 Pine Blvd., Auburn, is described as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Pate pleaded guilty to the charge stemming from an incident that occurred on May 13, 2011.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Christopher Pate or on any other fugitive in Schuylkill County is asked to call the district attorney's office at 570-628-1350.

Anyone who may see or come in contact with Pate is asked to call the Schuylkill County Communications Center immediately.

Callers are asked to refer to incident 04-15-12 when calling with information on the whereabouts of Christopher Pate.

Individuals with information can also contact their local police department and all information received will remain confidential.
