Haven woman hurt in crash
SAINT CLAIR - A 22-year-old Schuylkill Haven woman was injured when the 2003 Jeep Liberty she was driving crashed on Route 61, just south of Tunnel Road in East Norwegian Township, at 12:51 a.m. Thursday.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Katelyn Schimpf was driving south when she went into the median and struck an attenuator. The SUV then spun counterclockwise and rolled over onto its right side, coming to a stop facing west in the southbound lanes.
Police said Schimpf suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street by Saint Clair EMS. Police said she will be cited as a result of the crash.
Woman: Boyfriend damaged truck
TREMONT - State police at Schuylkill Haven said Debra Graff, 38, of Tremont, alleged her boyfriend, Sreven Zimmerman, 36, of Tremont Township, punched a large hole in the bed of her pickup truck after an argument at 77 Molleystown Road, Tremont Township, between Dec. 10 and 11.
Police said the damage was done sometime during the two-day period when Graff was not at the residence.
Items stolen from gun club
TAMAQUA - State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at Wildcat Gun Club Inc., 137 Wildcat Road, Walker Township, between 9 a.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said someone forced their way into a cabin on the property and removed two beige kerosene heaters, a blue 1,000-watt generator, two steel pool pumps, eight to 10 garbage bags of crushed aluminum cans, a 2 1/2-gallon clear fuel can, an aluminum roof antenna and various lengths of electrical wire.

Shenandoah man faces charges
GIRARDVILLE - A 22-year-old Shenandoah man was arrested by state police at Frackville and charged with harassment after an incident on Ogden Street about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said Jason Rodriguez will have to answer to the charge before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville.
Police said Rodriguez physically assaulted William Hiester, 21, of Girardville, inside a home in the area.
Girardville police were not on duty at the time of the incident, police said.
