MINERSVILLE - Borough police arrested an 18-year-old Schuylkill Haven woman Tuesday on drug charges.
Police said Allyson A. Kiessling, 212 E. Main St., was charged with one count each of felony delivery of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. The woman was arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Police said the charges follow an incident about 11:25 p.m. at the Minersville Recreation Complex parking lot, an area designated as a school zone.
Police said that about 10:30 a.m. they learned Kiessling had 10 Adderall pills for sale at $15 each.
An undercover officer met Kiessling in the parking lot where she was a passenger in a vehicle and told the officer to get in.
After asking the officer, "Are you a cop?" Kiessling showed a glassine baggie containing the pills and then handed the baggie to the officer after being given $150, police said.
The woman then told the officer that if he wanted to buy more pills to contact her, police said.
Kiessling was taken into custody and found with the marked money used for the transaction, police said.
The pills were identified as Adderall XR 10mg and were prepared to be taken to the state police crime lab in Bethlehem for analysis.
Kiessling must answer the charges before Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko, Port Carbon.
